Deanna Huckabee

Deanna started out in the wig industry in 1998 working for another local wig shop in Boise. “The longer I was there helping women with all types of hair issues, the more I realized just how devastating it is for a woman to lose her hair. A good percentage of the clients that came to purchase a wig were women undergoing chemotherapy and most of them were dealing with breast cancer. After losing a breast – or even both breasts – the women then had to experience even more loss with their hair falling out due to the affects of chemo. These were the ladies that touched my heart the most, and from all of this I felt a deep need rise up to help these women with more than just selling them a wig. This is how Angels In Your Corner came to be; it’s really about our customers and about doing everything we can to serve every need they have.”

Darla was and will always be a kind and gentle woman with a true talent for cutting and styling wigs for our customers at Angels in Your Corner. She is a natural at finding the right wig and teaching you how to really take care of it. What’s the only thing she can’t do to wig? Change the color! Darla is an artist who takes after her father when it comes to perfection and it shows in every wig she works on, as well as every smile we see when one of our customer’s looks in the mirror. “It’s not right until it’s perfect!” is something you’ll hear Darla say when you visit the shop and you’ll also find that she has the patience of a saint. There’s no question too silly, no style too difficult and no stone she won’t overturn looking for the perfect fit and style for each one of the customers she serves.

I need to give a Great Big Shout out to Deanna and Darla! I had come from another wig shop that I had the worst experience ever. I walked in without an appointment expecting to come back at a different time. I was so welcomed. This was my first time with wigs so I needed someone with patience. Not only did I feel the most important person in the shop the girls truly were a pleasure. They know their wigs!!! Importantly they listened to me and learned my style. The other place did no such thing! I purchased two fabulous wigs for myself and even purchased one for my mom who lives in Fl. Couldn’t be happier! These girls never once lowered the bar. This was my third experience at Angels In Your Corner. The first time was about 2 years ago when I went with my sister who was going through chemo. The staff was caring and made my sister so comfortable. I was extremely impressed....so impressed, I went back and purchased 2 wigs for me. Today I took my best friend in to look at wigs. We had a wonderful time and they explained the proper care of wigs and how to style them. She went in just to look at them and we left with a beautiful wig that she loved. I can recommend Angel's In Your Corner without any reservations. They are kind, caring and extremely knowledgeable.
